Description
A few dozen of the parks loftiest peaks were given mystical names by the 19th century cartographers tasked with identifying the many land features throughout the Grand Canyon. Isis Temple, named by Clarence Dutton after a goddess in ancient Egyptian lore, is a personal favorite. It's sharp peak, and exquisite symmetry, has anchored many of my best shots from the South Rim. Here is can be seen framed by snow-covered pine trees at Yavapai Point. Contact Mike for sizes larger than 12”x 8”.
